1. Why is identity verification necessary?
Identity verification is a process used by financial institutions and other regulated organisations to establish users' identity. "Know Your Customer" (KYC) is an individual verification standard and CoinCatch will verify your identity as a conduct of risk assessment to mitigate risk.
2. How is identity verification related to my access to CoinCatch services?
Starting from 1 January 2024, identity verification is mandatory for deposits and trading for all CoinCatch accounts.
3. What are the benefits of identity verification on CoinCatch?
Other than the increase of withdrawal limits, you can access to crypto deposits, fiat deposits and P2P trading on CoinCatch.
4. Can I complete individual verification on my sub-account?
You can only complete individual verification on your main account. Once you complete identity verification on your main account, you will enjoy the same access on your sub-accounts.
5. Can I complete individual verification on more than one CoinCatch account?
Each user can only complete identity verification on one CoinCatch account. If you wish to open a new account on CoinCatch, it is recommended to activate a sub-account as long as your main account is verified.
6. How many times a day can I attempt for individual verification if it fails?
Each user may resubmit for KYC verification for 5 times in 24 hours. After 5 attempts, you will have to wait for 24 hours before trying again.
7. Can I change my identity information after verification?
You cannot change your identification information with your existing KYC. However, if there is any mistake (missing alphabet, numbers or wrong D.O.B) in the information you submitted, please contact customer service for further assistance.
8. Can I delete my individual verification?
You cannot delete your identification verification unless:
· You had changed your nationality (e.g. migration).
· You could not proceed your fiat deposit/withdrawal with your SEPA account. Please ensure both SEPA account CoinCatch account have the same identification information.
Note: Users have to bear the consequences for any loss of funds if any misuse of KYC information is conducted, as it may lead to account dispute or fraud related activities.
